This is the DHD found in our galaxy with nearly every gate. Earth did not find a DHD with their gate so that is why they created the Dialing Computer |

The DHD's in Pegasus looks more modern. The glyphs light up bright white and it has a blue dome to activate the gate where ours have a red dome. Atlantis don't use one of these they have their own dialing device. |
